Miss Claires Nude shades : Review + Swatches !

Hello to all !

Nudes are my go-to-option for a perfect day occasion ! Finding the best shade: be it in a satin, matte or sheer finish, Nudes are rocking it everywhere ! Tons of shades to choose from various formulas to get that ‘statement lip’ is every girl’s dream.

I was taken up through the inquisitiveness to know about a brand which was hyped to be the closest dupe of NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams !
Thereby I recently ordered 2 shades from Nykaa to try my hands on this brand. I particularly wanted something in the nude tones and I was lucky enough to get through those shades.

Yes ! I am talking about Miss Claires Soft Matte Lip Creams!

ABOUT THE BRAND :

Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip creams is that thrifty and cost effective brand which has no price tags as such. Available on Amazon for Rs 190 to elevating up for Rs 295 on Nykaa, it is also easily available in Delhi and various other cities where you can end up buying various shades from your trusted outlets ranging between Rs 200-250.
Well ! after digging into some good fact-finding and research I finally could conclude that there is no official website of this brand. However, the tube of the lipstick mentions a company named ‘Eureka Cosmo Pvt Ltd‘ importing and marketing this brand. Also being sold via one of the famous online sellers, Nykaa attaches a footnote of : a 100% mark of authenticity and procuring the brand from authorized resellers. However, Nykaa does mention the fact that these lipsticks are being manufactured in accordance with European standards !

PACKAGING :

These lip creams come in a non- transluscent plastic tube & colour similar to that particular lip shade that the tube is carrying in it. It has a wand attached to the cap of the tube which is soft, fluffly and easy to glide on one’s lips. One can easily control the quantity of the product through the applicator. Each tube carries about 6.5gms of product.

QUALITY & TEXTURE :

The product once applied onto the lips feels soft and velvety in texture ! Though, they’re super comfortable on the lips, however the longevity of these lip colors are not much. About 3-4 hours and you need to reapply.
The color is fairly pigmented and one even needs to glide about twice on the lips in order to bring out the true shade as one stroke isn’t enough !

SWATCHES :

Shade No. 31 : This nude shade has hints of pink with warm undertones. Described best as a “Dusty Pink “shade, this one’s a perfect shade for summers and is neither too bright nor too bold.

Shade No. 57 : This nude shade is a perfect brown-beige colour mix with cool undertones and is one of my favourites. A perfect light turn on with slight peachy hues mixed gorgeously, I totally am obsessed with this one and I end up using this one even during the evenings.

Verdict :
Keeping in mind the prices, this brand offers a variety of shades without burning a hole in the pocket.
They seem to be value for money as we can’t deny the fact that they’re :
1. super affordable
2. the closest dupe of a reliable brand NYX
3. offer a vast diversification in shades
4. feel comfortable when applied on

However, we cannot ignore the following facts too :
1. no knowledge about the brand
2. no proper pricing for the product
3. not wearable for a long time
4. need 2 strokes to get the true shade
5. no testers available
